Stima Loan to help 300,000 connect to electricity

Electricity supply infrastructure in Nyali, Kisauni, Kongowea, Bamburi, Mtopanga and surrounding areas in Mombasa North got a shot in the arm today when hundreds of Kenya Power workers descended on the network to upgrade power lines, transformers and substations to reduce the occurrence of blackouts and also improve quality of supply.

The ultra-modern facility, constructed by Kenya Power at a total cost of Shs.642 million, has adequate capacity to accommodate additional power demand by existing industries who would like to expand their operations, as well as new industrial and commercial enterprises.
